S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Index Name and Index Key changes for the S&P Global BMI family - Completed - March 11, 2019
Effective, Monday, March 11, 2019, S&P Dow Jones Indices will be updating the index name and index keys within the S&P Global BMI family. The primary change is to append GICS qualifiers to the index names to distinguish Sector, Industry Group, Industry and Sub-Industry indices. Other changes are to align the syntax of the index names and index keys, for example to consistently apply currency and return-type designations.
