Davide Di Gioia
Director, Index Investment Strategy
Davide Di Gioia is Director, Index Investment Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). The index investment strategy team provides research and commentary on the entire S&P DJI product set, including U.S. and global equities, commodities, fixed income, and economic indices.
Before joining S&P DJI, Davide was an index product developer at Morningstar, participating in the full development cycle including ideation, design, development, and presentations to the global research team and clients. Previously, Davide was an index specialist at FTSE Russell, creating custom indices to help meet unique requirements. Prior to that, Davide worked as quantitative researcher at a financial start-up and in an asset management firm in Italy as portfolio manager.
Davide holds an MBA in financial management from University of Plymouth, an MSc in finance and banking, and currently is a part-time Ph.D. student in machine learning at University College London (UCL).
