Dow Jones Averages
The Dow Jones Averages are some of the world's oldest and most esteemed market indices. Introduced in May 1896, the Dow Jones Industrial Average® is a world-renowned gauge of the U.S. equity market. The index covers all industries with the exception of transportation and utilities, which are covered by the Dow Jones Transportation Average and Dow Jones Utility Average.
