This is the third session in the "2020 Energy Outlook and Managing Pandemic-Related Risk: What CROs Need to Know" webinar series hosted by S&P Global Market Intelligence, the Committee of Chief Risk Officers (CCRO), and the Alliance Risk Group.

As Executive Director of the CCRO, Bob is the Committee’s principal spokesperson, lead strategist and chief administrator. He represents the Committee before the FERC, CFTC, Congress, and major industry conferences. The Committee of Chief Risk Officers is a corporation of member companies from across the energy industry from upstream to retail. The CCRO is dedicated to the development and advancement of a broad range of best practices in the fields of risk and compliance.
Prior to becoming the lead at the CCRO, Bob was the Chief Risk Officer for the El Paso Corporation, a consultant with McKinsey & Company, and lead of the energy derivatives trading & marketing group at BP Oil Company.
In his role as CCRO lead, Bob has developed relationships with many risk professionals from across the industry, providing constructive opportunities for all to grow in expertise and career.
As CEO for a start-up firm, Bob successfully developed funding sources and proprietary processes for an innovative approach to energy market transparency.
Bob has received much public acknowledgement for his involvement in the risk management field, including the “Famous Fifty” hall of fame award and years of industry speaking engagements.
Mr. Anderson has developed strong relationships with commissioners and senior staff at regulatory groups including the CFTC and FERC. Mr. Anderson also provides expert witness services for corporate litigation in the areas of risk management, corporate governance, and business development.

Dan LoBue, an energy market optimization specialist and subject matter expert, has over 30 years’ experience in power markets. He stared his energy career as a navel nuclear operator on submarine and then as a civilian, he held multiple senior corporate positions in generation, transmission, regulatory and commercial operations. Most relevant experiences being focused on starting up and then directing trading, origination and regulatory activities. As a consultant, he specializes in advising and providing time proven solutions to decision makers who need to know how to minimize operational cost and risk while simultaneously achieving business objectives and prosperity.
Having integrated 14+ companies into ISO & RTO’s, most likely the most performed in the industry, Mr. LoBue was the lead consultant in the Entergy / MISO South integration, likely the largest and most complex integration to date at over a cost of over $124 Million. Also when the ISOs/RTOs themselves needed assistance, many times Dan has received the call, having provided services for PJM, NYISO, MISO and SPP. Additionally, as part of his operational efficiency, cost reduction and profitability services, he has performed dozens of software integrations, both involved in RTO interactions as well as standalone systems integrations, including RTO transaction management systems, EMS/GMS and meter data management systems resulting in a track record over a 20 years period in resulting averages between of 8%-12% increases in the company’s annual EBITDA.
