Morgan and brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of risk management primarily in the energy and financial services industries. Morgan is the lead subject matter expert on financial solutions for Alliance’s clients including, capital optimization in energy markets, structured credit, restructuring, M&A due diligence, and risk management assessments. As a CPA, he also oversees the Company's financial matters.
Morgan has been responsible for leading and developing credit risk practices and liquidity enhancing structures for leading energy companies and has significant Big 4 public accounting experience within the financial services industry. Morgan has managed critical aspects of cross-border restructurings and has managed buy-side power and gas due diligence for clients, in both the wholesale and retail space.
Morgan is on the Board of Directors of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers and has been actively involved in major initiatives of the CCRO including co-Chairing the White Paper Market Clearing in the Energy Industry.
In shaping industry reforms on credit and liquidity issues in the ISO/RTO markets, Morgan has spoken before regulators such as FERC and the CFTC, including on efforts that led to major FERC Order 741. Morgan has also Chaired the ERCOT Credit Working Group during the nodal market redesign, as well as the ERCOT Market Credit Working Group.

He succeeded in a rapidly declining revenue and profit margin environment that was highly competitive and relentlessly shifting. He worked with the business to lower costs and properly manage PnL.
Prior to Noble Americas, Joe has held senior commercial and legal roles with leading banks and energy companies including Credit Suisse, XL Capital, Allegheny Energy, Merchant Energy Group of the Americas, where Joe’s responsibilities have spanned from VP of Power and Gas Origination and Trading to Director of Commodities Prime Services to General Counsel.
