Full BioNikol is a Senior Specialist in the Financial Institutions Business at Trucost, part of S&P Global. Trucost assesses and prices risks relating to climate change, natural resource constraints and broader ESG factors, enabling companies and financial institutions to understand exposure to ESG factors, inform resilience and identify the transformative solutions of tomorrow.
Nikol joined Trucost’s Financial Institutions team in October 2015, focusing primarily on green bond assessments and portfolio carbon footprinting. She has also been involved in running a consultation in partnership with S&P Dow Jones Indices. Nikol is currently working on projects that look into the positive impact of investments and more specifically in Real Estate and Building Materials. She is also part of the Data Assurance Team. Nikol has experience in positive impact, carbon footprinting, green bonds, water modelling and climate change impacts.
Prior to joining Trucost, Nikol has co-managed a project for the European Commission, was a Junior Consultant at CSR Consulting and has interned at PwC Cyprus. She is currently a member of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment) and a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) candidate.
Nikol holds an MSc in Climate Change from University College London and a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham. Nikol is fluent in Greek.
