This suite of indices is designed to facilitate passive strategies that do not breach religious norms. Catholic values indices exclude certain activities that are not aligned with the Responsible Investment Guidelines of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, while Shariah indices adhere to Shariah guidelines and adopt explicit, transparent selection criteria as defined by Islamic law.
