Associate Director, Index Investment Strategy
Michael Brower is an Associate Director of Index Investment Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). The Index Investment Strategy group provides research and commentary on S&P DJI's range of global benchmarks, including U.S. and global equities, commodities, fixed income and economic indices.
Prior to joining the IIS team, Michael served as a quantitative specialist in the firm’s Index Management and Production Group, where he supported the factor and thematic equity teams He also sat on the Strategy and COPTIC committees and spearheaded new multi-asset index launches. His career has spanned a variety of roles in the financial services industry, including portfolio management, mortgage analytics and commercial real estate valuation.
Michael holds a master of financial engineering from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
