Director, Head of Asset Owners Channel
Marcus Friedman is Director, Head of Asset Owners Channel at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI), responsible for institutional investor coverage. The Asset Owners Channel focuses on developing and managing relationships with asset owners to promote S&P DJI’s indices and services across asset classes.
Prior to joining S&P DJI in 2015, Marcus was a Vice President and Client Advisor in the Investment Management division of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. There, he was responsible for providing comprehensive asset management solutions across fixed income, equity, hedge fund, private equity, and real estate investments to U.S. institutional investors, including corporations, governments, endowments, foundations, not-for-profits, and healthcare systems.
Marcus joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management as an Analyst in the three-year training program, where he researched, analyzed, and constructed institutional investment portfolios within the Institutional Sales & Advisory Group. He began his career as a trainee at Morgan Stanley in the Professional Foundation Program.
Marcus earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Colorado State University.
