Client Short and Long Form Disclaimers

Any materials created internally or externally that reference or include any trademarks of S&P Dow Jones Indices, its affiliates, and/or their third party licensors, must include either the short form or long form disclaimer notice provided on this site. The short form disclaimer should be included in any marketing or promotional materials, such as brochures or factsheets (whether print, online, or other media) referencing the trademark(s) and which are five (5) or fewer pages in length or 250 or fewer words. The long form disclaimer should be included in any material required by any applicable governmental or regulatory agencies, such as prospectuses and disclosure documents or when such materials also contain a disclaimer by any other third party, or when any materials are greater than five (5) pages in length or more than 250 words. Any changes in the disclaimer notice must be approved in advance in writing by an authorized officer of S&P.  Once a change in notice has been approved by S&P, it does not need to be resubmitted for approval to the extent it is subsequently used in substantially the same manner.
