Cheryl Agius is resigning as CEO of Saga Insurance Co. Ltd. and as an executive director of Saga PLC, effective immediately, for personal reasons.

Saga group CEO Euan Sutherland will become interim CEO of Saga Insurance until a suitable replacement is appointed.

The search for a successor has started and is expected to take several months to complete, according to the company.
