The S&P Global Property Indices are designed to measure the investable universe of publicly traded property companies, with historical data extending back to 1989. The indices include real estate operating companies (REOCs) and real estate investment trusts (REITs), and they employ a transparent and consistent methodology across all 46 eligible countries.

The Dow Jones Real Estate Indices encompass a range of strategies tailored to meet a variety of investor needs. The Dow Jones Select Real Estate Securities Indices (RESI) are a highly focused set of indices that require constituents to be equity owners of conventional real estate assets. The family also includes broader sector indices such as the Dow Jones U.S. Real Estate Index.
