Our futures-based cryptocurrency indices are designed to measure the performance of the CME cryptocurrency futures market. The CME is a regulated cryptocurrency futures market in the U.S. Its contracts roll on a predetermined schedule. The CME Group owns a 23% equity stake in S&P Dow Jones indices LLC.
