LONDON, June 28, 2024: S&P Dow Jones Indices ("S&P DJI"), the world's leading index provider, announced today changes to the following IHS Markit entities' names:
- IHS Markit Benchmark Administration Ltd. to S&P Dow Jones Indices Limited
- Markit Indices GmbH to S&P Dow Jones Indices GmbH
These name changes reflect the broader rebranding of IHS Markit entities following the completion of the merger between S&P Global and IHS Markit which was announced on February 2022.
S&P Dow Jones Indices will continue to provide its market-leading indices and benchmarking solutions under its iconic brands, including 'S&P', 'Dow Jones', 'iBoxx', 'CDX', and 'iTraxx' to customers across the globe. There are no anticipated changes to existing contractual obligations and commitments as a result of these name changes.
