Srineel Jalagani
Senior Director, Thematic Indices
Srineel Jalagani is Senior Director, Thematic Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). In his role, Srineel focuses on origination, product development and support of a broad range of innovative and sustainable thematic strategies. Srineel works closely with the Sales, Marketing and Global Research & Design departments to bring new ideas to market and support their commercial success.
Prior to joining S&P DJI, Srineel worked at Deutsche Bank in their Research department. His first role there was focused on the emerging markets sovereign credit space, where he published regularly on topics including relative value trade recommendations, market positioning and technicals and new bond issuance analysis. He then shifted his focus to U.S. equities, joining the Delta 1 Strategy, where his responsibilities included publishing content, client solutions related to factor indices and custom basket solutions. More recently, he was a part of the U.S. Equity Strategy team that published on positioning and relative sector and U.S. market valuations. Srineel started his career at Credit Suisse in their Technology division.
Srineel has master’s degrees in computational finance and computer science from Carnegie Mellon University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, respectively, and completed his undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology. He is also a CFA charterholder.
