Justin Holt is Senior Director, Research & Design, S&P Kensho Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). He researches thematic and systematic investment strategies for the S&P Kensho Indices.
Prior to his current role, Justin spent three years as a Senior Investment Advisor for the New York City Mayor’s Office, where he sat on the New York City public pension boards as an ex officio trustee. Before that, he worked for five years as Co-Portfolio Manager/Senior Research Analyst for the Charles Schwab Center for Financial Research, where he headed up global fixed income for a multi-billion-dollar tactical asset allocation fund.
Justin grew up on the west coast, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and fine arts, painting from the University of Oregon and a Master of Financial Engineering degree from University of California Los Angeles. Justin is also a CFA charterholder.
