Antonio de Azpiazu
Managing Director, Head of Commercial Europe and Latin America
Antonio de Azpiazu is Managing Director, Head of Commercial Europe and Latin America at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). Antonio is responsible for client activities and overall commercial strategy in Europe and Latin America, working closely with key market participants including ETF sponsors, investment banks, asset managers, asset owners, consultants and exchanges.
Prior to his current position, Antonio held various roles within S&P DJI, focusing on the development of the company’s activity in the emerging market regions. For several years, Antonio was responsible for S&P DJI’s business activity in Southern Europe and the Middle East. Before joining S&P DJI, Antonio managed S&P Fund Services and S&P Portfolio Services operations in Iberia out of the S&P Global Ratings office in Madrid.
Antonio holds a bachelor’s degree in international business communication from Ulster University in the U.K., an MBA in finance from Hull University, U.K, and an Advanced Management Master’s from IE Business School, Madrid.
