– Waud Capital Partners LLC acquired Michigan-based Mopec Group, a supplier of anatomic and forensic pathology equipment, consumable products and services, from private equity firm Blackford Capital. Stout Capital served as financial adviser and Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal counsel to Waud. Piper Sandler & Co. served as the exclusive financial adviser to Blackford and Mopec, while Varnum LLP acted as legal counsel.

– Advent International LP agreed to acquire condiments and seasonings producer Sauer Brands Inc. from private equity firm Falfurrias Capital Partners. Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is serving as lead financial adviser and William Blair & Co. LLC is serving as co-financial adviser to Sauer Brands. McGuireWoods LLP is acting as legal adviser to Sauer Brands and Falfurrias. Centerview Partners LLC is serving as financial adviser and Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP is acting as legal adviser to Advent.

– AE Industrial Partners LP sold engineering, procurement and construction management company CDI Engineering Solutions Inc. to Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd. Capstone Partners served as financial adviser and Kirkland & Ellis acted as legal adviser to CDI and AE Industrial.

– Gallant Capital Partners LLC agreed to acquire the government services business of Navient Corp.

– Private equity firm Haveli Investments acquired AppViewX Inc., a provider of certificate lifecycle management and public key infrastructure solutions.
