U.K.-based Blockchain Access UK Ltd., doing business as Blockchain.com, acquired Argentine cryptocurrency platform SeSocio.com for an undisclosed amount.

Following the acquisition, Blockchain.com will launch physical offices and hire people in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. The company will also absorb 100 SeSocio employees.

The deal is part of Blockchain.com's efforts to expand globally, following acquisitions this year that include artificial intelligence firm AiX, machine learning investment firm Magic Carpet and consumer startup Storm Inc.
