Sirius to continue airing MSNBC, CNBC, TODAY Show Radio channels

Sirius XM Holdings Inc. will continue airing the simulcasts of MSNBC (US) and CNBC (US), as well as the TODAY Show Radio channel on its audio platform, under a new long-term agreement with the NBCUniversal News Group.

The new deal also designates Sirius XM as the exclusive advertising representative for NBC News and MSNBC podcasts, with additional sales rights to CNBC podcasts, according to a Nov. 18 company release. Sirius XM unit AdsWizz will provide the end-to-end ad tech platform for the podcasts.

Sirius XM and NBC News in 2014 launched TODAY Show Radio, which offers live audio feeds of NBC's morning program "TODAY," on Channel 108. The MSNBC and CNBC simulcasts air on Channels 118 and 112, respectively.

AdsWizz, a provider of digital audio ad technology, was sold to U.S. music streaming service Pandora Media. Sirius XM acquired the latter in 2019.

NBCUniversal News Group is the news division of Comcast Corp.'s NBCUniversal Media LLC.
