➤ AltaGas acquires remaining Petrogas stake for C$285M

AltaGas Ltd. is now the sole owner of Petrogas Energy Corp. after buying the 25.97% stake held by a Canadian subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan Co. Ltd. for total cash considerations of C$285 million.

➤ Onward Energy to buy 1,171-MW solar portfolio from Global Atlantic

Onward Energy agreed to acquire all the cash equity interests in a 1,171-MW operating solar portfolio in the U.S. from insurer Global Atlantic Financial Group Ltd.

Oil and gas deals reached $50.96 billion in value year-to-date through July 6, compared with $80.88 billion in the same period in 2021. Year-to-date utility deals aggregated to $38.59 billion in 2022, compared with $91.63 billion in the 2021 period, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
