New-issue leveraged loan volume has topped $40 billion so far in June, compared to nearly $70 billion for all of May. The market is headed in a different direction than in previous months, however. While the tone is stable enough for loan arrangers to launch new deals, no fewer than 17 issuers lifted proposed pricing during the past week, says LCD’s Chris Donnelly.
