Kames Capital has announced a reshuffle of its high-yield team. Claire McGukin is promoted to co-manager of the £1.5 billion high-yield bond fund, alongside existing co-manager Phil Milburn. The previous co-manager of the fund,Melanie Mitchell, will return to running investment-grade portfolios at the firm.
The company has also hired Stephen Baines as a high-yield manager. Baines moves from Oriel Asset Management, and has also worked at Baillie Gifford and Babson Capital Europe.
Kames Capital is an investment management business, and from its offices in Edinburgh and London the firm manages £52 billion (€61 billion) on behalf of its U.K. and international clients. – Staff reports
