Irish online gaming company Flutter Entertainment PLC on May 5 completed its merger with Canadian counterpart The Stars Group Inc.

In a separate release, the sports betting company said it appointed The Stars Group Executive Chairman Divyesh Gadhia as deputy chair of its board.

Rafael Ashkenazi, Richard Flint, Alfred Hurley Jr., David Lazzarato and Mary Turner also joined Flutter's board. Jan Bolz and Emer Timmons stepped down as nonexecutive directors.
