Executive, director moves through Sept. 11

Sept. 6

Vinod Kumar Thakral and Bharat Laxmanbhai Gajipapa ceased to be directors of Coal India Ltd. as of Sept. 5.

Sept. 7

Greenvale Mining Ltd. added Tony Leibowitz and Neil Biddle to its board as chairman and executive director, respectively. Leo Khouri will step down as chairman while remaining on the board as a nonexecutive director, and Stephen Gemell resigned as a director.

Davenport Resources Ltd. appointed Ian Farmer as nonexecutive chairman. Reinout Koopmans will step down as interim chairman, effective immediately, while remaining on the board as a nonexecutive director. Patrick McManus will step down as a nonexecutive director at the annual general meeting in November.

Ikwezi Mining Ltd. appointed Nitin Agrawal as chairman.

Shane Kyriakou joined the TerraCom Ltd. board as a nonexecutive director.

James Phipps resigned as a nonexecutive director of Alara Resources Ltd.

Jupiter Mines Ltd. appointed Greg Durack as CEO of its planned Central Yilgarn iron ore IPO.

Sept. 8

Chesser Resources Ltd. named Boubacar Thera as director of corporate affairs and new business.

Adavale Resources Ltd. appointed Allan Ritchie as CEO.

Mithril Resources Ltd. appointed CEO John Skeet to also serve as managing director.

Tanga Resources Ltd. appointed Steven Michael as a nonexecutive director, to replace Matthew Bowles.

Fission Uranium Corp. named Ross McElroy as CEO to replace Devinder Randhawa, who retired from management and the board and moved to the advisory board. The board of directors appointed Darian Yip as its independent chair.

Mawson Gold Ltd. appointed Tapani Hyysalo as COO of subsidiary Mawson Oy. The parent company also named Noora Ahola as managing director of the subsidiary and Bouke van 't Riet as a nonexecutive technical director of the unit.

Newmont Corp. added Susan Story to its board, effective Sept. 10. The company also announced the retirement of independent director J. Kofi Bucknor.

Michael Price will step down from the Eldorado Gold Corp. board, effective Sept. 30, after Judith Mosely joined the board as of Sept. 1.

Graphite One Inc. Chief Technology Officer Shane Beattie passed away.

New Oroperu Resources Inc. appointed Jonathan Rubenstein as a director.

Sept. 9

Theta Gold Mines Ltd. appointed Mitford Mundell and Jacques Du Triou as CEO and COO, respectively, of its African operations from Oct. 1.

Galantas Gold Corp. named Alan Buckley as CFO effective Sept. 30, following a reduction in work commitments by CFO Leo O'Shaughnessy, who will act as a consultant for six months to help with the transition.

Altair Resources Inc. appointed Bruce Reid as interim CFO after the resignation of Nick DeMare, who will continue to provide advisory services to the company.

Junheng Li resigned as a director of Kazakhstan Potash Corp. Ltd.

Angus Mining Inc. appointed John McBride and Donn Burchill to its board of directors, effective Nov. 30, 2019.

Lindsay Maxsted retired as an independent nonexecutive director of BHP Group subsidiaries BHP Group PLC and BHP Group Ltd. as of Sept. 4.

Fancamp Exploration Ltd. appointed Rajesh Sharma as interim CEO, effective immediately.

American Battery Metals Corp. added Chief Technology Officer Ryan Melsert to its board of directors.

Hargreaves Services PLC appointed Nicholas Mills as a nonexecutive director, effective Sept. 9.

Benguet Corp. hired Lester Yee as a new director following the resignation of Jennelyn Go.

Bard Ventures Ltd. named George Drazenovic as president, CEO, director and corporate secretary, to replace Eugene Beukman.

Sept. 10

Roger Jackson joined the Hipo Resources Ltd. board as nonexecutive director.

Perpetual Resources Ltd. tapped Brett Grosvenor as nonexecutive director, effective immediately.

United Battery Metals Corp. appointed Aman Parmar to its board of directors.

John Young was named as an executive director of Trek Metals Ltd.

Richard Round resigned as a nonexecutive director of Anglo Asian Mining PLC due to personal reasons. He will remain in the role until Dec. 7.

Russ Tynan, Scott Smith and Steve Cochrane agreed to join the Angkor Resources Corp. board while Jiancheng Peng resigned but will continue to serve as a member of its advisory committee.

Norseman Capital Ltd. appointed Sean Hurd as president and CEO, David Robinson as CFO and Campbell Smyth as chairman, effective Sept. 8. John William Barr resigned as CEO and chairman and will remain on the board as a director, while Simon Ma resigned as CFO.

The corporate assembly in Norsk Hydro ASA elected Ellen Merete Olstad as a new employee-elected member of the board to replace Svein Kåre Sund, with effect from Sept. 10 until the next election of employee representatives in 2022. Sten Roar Martinsen and Arve Baade were also reelected.

Cascadero Copper Corp. named Chairman George Gale as interim CEO while the company searches for a permanent CEO.

Sept. 11

Critical Elements Lithium Corp. announced the nomination of Eric Zaunscherb as board chairman.

Far Resources Ltd. appointed Robert Dinning as CFO and a director, after Eddie Yu resigned as CFO and director Frank Anderson died.

Pershimex Resources Corp. added Serge Racine to its board following the departure of director Pierre-Hubert Séguin.

Mark Luchinski joined the International Montoro Resources Inc. board of directors after the resignation of Roger Agyagos.

Michael Malana resigned as CFO and secretary of Karam Minerals Inc., effective Sept. 9. The company named Kelvin Lee as a replacement, and also appointed Lee to its board of directors.

Fuse Cobalt Inc. appointed Konstantin Lichtenwald as a director, while James Hellwarth resigned from the board.
