Cara Real Estate buys London mixed-use building for £71M

Barings LLC sold an approximately 35,000-square-foot mixed-use building at 7-10 Waterloo Place in London on behalf of an institutional investor for £71 million.

The buyer was Cara Investment Gmbh unit Cara Real Estate GmbH.

Barings, which purchased the property for £35 million in 2014, secured long-term leasing with Brewin Dolphin, Harbour Litigation Funding Ltd., Apollo Tyres, Tourmaline Europe LLP and Imperial Treasure.

Barings received advice from JLL, BH2 and DLA Piper, while Cara was advised by CBRE and Taylor Wessing.
