Thomas Yagel is the Chief Operating and Product Officer for S&P Global Sustainable1. In this role, he is responsible for setting strategy and leading key initiatives across ESG Technology, Content, Research, Solutions and Product. Prior to taking the position with Sustainable1 in 2021, Thomas led the Corporates business within Market Intelligence for six years, helping to double it during his tenure. At Market Intelligence, his teams were responsible for products such as TMT/451 Research, Commodities, Supply Chain/Panjiva, as well as critical go-to-markets like ESG and Digital Transformation for corporates segments.

Thomas has an extensive background in both finance and technology. He joined S&P Global in 2007. In addition to his time in the financial information services industry, Thomas spent the first decade of his career in software product development and consulting.

Thomas holds an M.B.A. with honors in finance and accounting from New York University Stern School of Business and a B.S. in physics from the University of Virginia. Minimize

Tim earned his BS in both finance and accounting, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University. He holds the Financial Risk Manager designation, the Sustainability and Climate Risk certification, and is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals. Mahmoud is a portfolio manager focusing on the management of customized, low turnover and liability-oriented credit portfolios, including managing assets for insurance companies.

Prior to joining Wellington Management, Mahmoud was a portfolio manager at Aviva Investors, where his responsibilities included leading their Liability-Driven Credit team, which managed the credit portfolios covering liabilities of Aviva’s UK, Irish, and French businesses, as well as the Aviva Staff Pension Scheme. Before that, he was a portfolio manager at Swiss Re, managing the firm’s sterling corporate credit book. He previously worked as a senior investment manager for European investment-grade credit at State Street Global Advisors and as a global fixed income portfolio manager at Salomon Brothers KAG and Citigroup Asset Management.
