In this role, Metin partners with clients and the research teams to develop bespoke solutions that enable them to meet regulatory requirements and implement best practices for risk management. He is the voice of the customer for product development and research teams assisting with product roadmaps and research priorities. Metin is also responsible for providing subject matter expertise around the design and implementation of macroeconomic forecasting, scenario planning, stress testing, capital adequacy planning, and expected credit loss accounting (such as CECL and IFRS 9). Metin has more than 20 years of experience in finance, credit, risk management, and technology solutions. Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence, he worked at Moody's Analytics, S&P Global, Crisil Global Research and Analytics, and Ford Credit Europe in a range of commercial and analytical roles to designing and implementing solutions for risk management.

 

Metin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. He is a CFA charter holder and speaks English and Turkish fluently. Minimize

Aaron Morales is Head of ESG for Iberia and Latin America at S&P Global Sustainable1, a group within S&P Global that brings together ESG and Climate benchmarking, analytics, evaluations, and indices. Aaron works with corporations and investors across the central USA and Latin America.

Prior to joining S&P Global, Aaron worked as a Business Development Manager of ESG data management technology solutions at UL. Before that, Aaron worked as consultant at a boutique sustainability consultancy firm in Mexico helping companies define their sustainability strategies. Aaron spent six months interning at Robert Bosch’s HQ in Germany, where he conducted scientific research on hydrogen fuel cells.

Aaron holds a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Systems from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), an MS in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Minimize

Danae Kyriakopoulou is Senior Policy Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. She leads the Institute's policy work on the intersections of climate change, international finance and economic development. She was honoured by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2022 and holds roles in various sustainability industry initiatives. From 2016 to 2021, she was the Chief Economist and Director of Research of the Official Monetary and Financial Institution Forum (OMFIF). As part of this, she set up the Sustainable Policy Institute and served as its Managing Director and Chair of its Advisory Council, of which she is now a member. Previously, she was Managing Economist at the Centre for Economics and Business Research.
