Nick Kapur is a Senior Director at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where he oversees product development, strategic initiatives, and P&L for the firm’s energy industry products and services. Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence, Nick spent nearly seven years at Bloomberg L.P., where he joined their Corporate Development group and acquired Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) in 2009, ultimately running BNEF’s commercial and client support team in the Americas for 2.5 years. Prior to Bloomberg, Nick worked in the Corporate Development group at Lehman Brothers and as a venture capitalist at Pequot Ventures and Platinum Equity. Ben is a Director and a Lead Analyst in the infrastructure team within S&P Global Ratings, based in Denver. He has been on the team since 2010, and focuses on ratings and surveillance of single asset infrastructure projects as well as corporates infrastructure issuers. This includes a diverse set of industries including transportation (road, airport, and rail), accommodation, and social infrastructure, as well as renewable and fossil fueled power generation. He covers projects with both availability and volume based revenues, and has had particular emphasis on PPPs in recent years. Prior to his current role, Ben worked in the S&P structure finance team, covering esoteric asset backed transactions. Ben has a BS with a double major in computer science and pure maths, and a BE in electrical engineering (first class honors) from the University of Sydney.
