He has worked as a high-performance building consultant and the Executive Director of USGBC Massachusetts (now Built Environment+). Lee teaches two courses at Harvard Extension on high performance and healthy buildings. He is a founding member of the Green Building Mountaineering Club and sits on the board of Speak for the Trees, Boston, an urban social equity advocacy organization. David is a climate risk specialist with deep experience in working with commercial real estate investors and institutional asset managers. At The Climate Service (TCS), now part of S&P Global Sustainable1, he leads new business initiatives for commercial real estate investors as Director of Business Development.
Prior to joining TCS, David worked in institutional sales in the macroeconomic research and strategy space, where he helped global asset managers to better understand and refine their asset allocation and overall investment strategy. Before entering the macro investment strategy space, he worked in commercial real estate at Lee & Associates Arizona. There, he specialized in the leasing and sale of industrial buildings in the Metro Phoenix market.

Julie Manning is a Portfolio Manager, based in Chicago, for domestic and international clients investing in the U.S., managing both diversified and targeted strategies, across investment styles and property types. Since joining the Custom Accounts team in 2014, Julie has managed separate accounts totaling over $4 billion in GAV. Julie leads LaSalle’s Global Climate Risk Task Force, responsible for integrating climate risk decision making throughout the investment process.
Originally joining LaSalle’s client accounting group as a controller, Julie transitioned to manage the firm’s investment performance team for two years, and then transitioned into the portfolio management team of the firm’s global fund-of-funds, managing two funds totaling over $1 billion of investor capital.
Julie chaired LaSalle Americas’ women’s leadership network 2013 through 2017 and remains actively involved. Prior to joining LaSalle, Julie was a senior financial analyst at JMB Realty.
Julie earned a B.S. in accountancy from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois and holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Aleksandra (Sasha) Njagulj is the Managing Director, Global Head of ESG (environmental, social, and governance), Real Estate at DWS group. She is responsible for ESG integration across global real estate portfolios. Sasha is an accomplished ESG expert with over 20 years of practical experience in architectural design, design management and the sustainable built environment. In her previous role with CBRE Global Investors, she was Global Head of ESG with overall responsibility for developing and communicating global sustainability priorities and strategies across all business lines. Prior to this, Sasha was head of the Sustainability, R&D and Innovation department at Bouygues U.K.
Throughout her career, Sasha has built a reputation both professionally and personally for championing the cause of responsible real estate investment. She received the UK-based edie 2020 Sustainability Leaders Award for Investor of the Year for an ESG programme she designed and delivered for CBRE. In addition, Sasha was awarded the global 2020 GRESB/BREEAM Individual Leadership Award, recognising strong leadership and commitment in the field of sustainable development. In 2021, she won the global Future Proof Real Estate Woman award as a leader in applying digitalisation, technology, open innovation and sustainability to create a better built environment.
A qualified architect, Sasha holds a Master's degree in Architectural Design from the University of Belgrade; a Master's degree in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge. She chairs the GRESB Foundation Real Estate Standards Committee and leads IIGCC Adaptation and Resilience Working Group and in Investor Practices Advisory Group, co-chairs the INREV ESG Committee, is a BRE Academy fellow, and sits on ULI ESG Council and IIGCC Investor Practices Advisory Group.

Based in Sydney, Devan is a Manager in the Asia Pacific team where he provides technical and market development support to stakeholders across the region. Devan works alongside organisations to unlock the opportunities afforded by the WELL Building Standard and ensure that they remain at the forefront of the global health and well-being movement.
With a career spanning across three continents, Devan has worked exclusively in sustainability-related roles for leading private and not-for-profit organisations. Prior to joining IWBI, Devan was responsible for managing the largest overhaul in Green Star’s 20-year history, a three-year journey that involved input from over 2,000 key stakeholders. This experience deepened his knowledge on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) drivers within the property sector, as well as developed his ability to identify effective responses to capitalise on their opportunities and mitigate their risks. He now focuses on the intersection between rating tools and ESG to deliver successful outcomes for those looking to pursue WELL.
Devan has a Master’s degree in economic management sciences, in which his thesis focused on designing effective policy mechanisms to attract global investment into the clean energy sector. This qualification proved helpful when Devan worked as a senior sustainability consultant on some of Australia’s most ambitious net zero carbon projects and precincts.
