Elena Salgado Rodriguez studied Law at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain and has a LLM on International Human Rights Law at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. She worked in several civil society organizations on both the protection of women’s rights through strategic litigation and on regulatory advocacy efforts around the topic of business & human rights and sustainability.

Currently works as an ESG Analyst at the Sustainable1 ESG Research team where she is responsible for the human rights topic within the Corporate Sustainability Assessment and contributes to the ESG Controversies Screening process.
