Kendrick Wee is director, leads the short term research and analysis in Oil markets, Midstream and Downstream for Asia and Middle East at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Kendrick is based in Singapore, responsible for the short-term Research and Analysis covering crude oil, refining and petrochemical feedstock services for Asia and Middle East, within S&P Global. Kendrick has undertaken several roles, including Global long-term forecasting of the refining markets (in Houston), North America downstream market Research and Analysis (in Washington D.C.) and Asia Pacific downstream consulting (in Singapore). His expertise includes strategic planning, refinery and company benchmarking, and commercial and technical assessments. He began his career with ExxonMobil in Singapore and has spent about 8 years in several technical and commercial roles before joining IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global) in 2014.

Kendrick holds a degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Singapore.
