Max analyses key trends and developments in the global meat and livestock sector. He focuses on how markets are influenced by animal disease outbreaks, trade agreements and policy issues. He has over 20 years' experience of reporting on various agricultural commodities, including animal feed, grains and tea as well as pork, poultry, beef and sheepmeat.
Max previously lived and worked in South America and the Caribbean and worked on publications focusing on the Americas before extending his range of analysis to cover countries in Europe and Asia. He has an MA in Latin American studies from the University of London and an MSc in Environmental Change from Brunel University.
