Yee Jie Wong is a research analyst within the CET team at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Yee Jie is a research analyst within the Clean Energy Technology team at S&P Global Commodity Insights. Based in Penang, Malaysia, Yee Jie specializes in renewable power markets globally and is responsible for wind research activities, spanning multiple topics, including technology evolution, competitive analysis, supply chain, and costs.

Prior to joining S&P Global, he was involved in academia with Osaka University in Japan and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Malaysia, pursuing research in surface science and catalysis for carbon dioxide activation and hydrogen production.

Yee Jie holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, a Master of Science from USM, and PhDs from Osaka University and USM.
