Michael F. Neidorff is recognized as a transformative leader and executive with a wealth of experience in starting and managing healthcare enterprises. He has successfully led the development and implementation of programs and services under Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial managed care while remaining committed to the core philosophy that quality healthcare is best delivered locally.

Mr. Neidorff became president and chief executive officer of Centene Corporation in 1996. He was named chairman and chief executive officer in May 2004, and was named president in April 2019. From the time Mr. Neidorff joined Centene, he has led its transformation from a closely held, $40 million corporation to a publicly traded (NYSE: CNC), Fortune 100^®, diversified, multi-national healthcare enterprise with annual revenues expected to exceed $70 billion in 2019. Mr. Neidorff is the longest-tenured CEO among the major managed care companies.

Under Mr. Neidorff’s direction, Centene has expanded from operating Medicaid health plans solely in Wisconsin and Indiana, to operations and implementations in 32 states serving more than 15 million managed care and TRICARE eligible beneficiaries. The company provides cost-effective coverage solutions to the rising number of under-insured and uninsured people. Gabriel Petek was appointed to the position of the Legislative Analyst in February 2019, as the sixth person to serve in that capacity since the office was founded in 1941. As the Legislative Analyst, Gabriel serves as the nonpartisan fiscal advisor to both houses of the California Legislature and oversees the preparation of fiscal and policy analyses of the state’s budget and programs. His office is also responsible for preparing impartial analyses of all initiatives and constitutional measures qualifying for the state’s ballot.

Before joining the office, Gabriel worked for two decades at S&P Global Ratings. Gabriel held several positions at S&P before he was ultimately named the Managing Director and Sector Leader in the U.S. States Group of the U.S. Public Finance Division in San Francisco. Gabriel was S&P’s primary analyst for the states of California and Illinois.

Gabriel graduated with a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, during which time he interned at the City of Boston’s Office of Management and Budget. In addition, he earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in political science from Loyola Marymount University, with a portion of his undergraduate coursework completed through his participation in the Hansard Scholars Programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Gabriel holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has served as an advisor to the Government Finance Officer’s Association’s Committee on Governmental Budgeting and Fiscal Policy. He currently serves on the Statewide Leadership Council of the Public Policy Institute of California.

Gabriel is married to Andrea de la Fuente and has two children, Eden (11) and William (9). He enjoys running, listening to his daughter play violin, and has coached his son’s little league baseball teams for four years. Minimize

Ron Rittenmeyer serves as executive chairman and chief executive officer of Tenet Healthcare Corporation. He has been a director on the Tenet board since 2010, including serving as lead director before he became executive chairman.

 

He is the retired chairman, president and chief executive officer of Electronic Data Systems (EDS), which was a leading global provider of information technology services, business process outsourcing and applications services with annual revenue of $29 billion. 

 

Mr. Rittenmeyer’s experience includes senior leadership responsibilities across multiple industries.  Before joining EDS in July 2005, he served as managing director of The Cypress Group, a private equity firm where he was responsible for all operating aspects of the company’s $3.5 billion investment portfolio.

 

He has served as chairman and chief executive officer of Millennium Health, a leading health solutions company that delivers timely, accurate and clinically actionable information to determine treatment decisions for patients.  Mr. Rittenmeyer led the successful emergence from Chapter 11 to an ongoing business.  

 

He is the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Expert Global Solutions, a global BPO and credit recovery company, employing 40,000 people world-wide.  He led the restructuring and subsequent sale of the credit recovery business, while rebuilding the CRM business to double-digit revenue and EBITDA growth.  Previously, he served as chairman, chief executive officer and president of Safety-Kleen, Inc., the $1.5 billion hazardous and industrial waste management company, which he successfully led through Chapter 11 and into a successful reorganization.

 

Among his other leadership roles, Mr. Rittenmeyer was CEO and president of AmeriServe; chairman, CEO and president of RailTex, Inc.; president and COO of Ryder TRS, Inc., the truck rental company; president and COO of Merisel; and COO of Burlington Northern Railroad.  Mr. Rittenmeyer was also with PepsiCo’s Frito Lay and PepsiCo’s foods international divisions for 20 years in senior management roles.

 

Mr. Rittenmeyer currently serves on the board of directors of IQVIA Holdings Inc.  He is chairman of the Federation of American Hospitals Board of Directors, serves on the executive board of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, the foundation board for the Church of Incarnation in Dallas, and is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  In 2016 he was named to The National Association of Corporate Directors’ Directorship 100 list. 

 

Mr. Rittenmeyer formerly served on the National Defense University Board of Visitors; as chairman of the U.S. Army War College Board of Visitors; on the Business Council, and on the board of directors for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  He also formerly served on the boards of R.H. Donnelley Corporation (presently DexYP), Avaya Holdings and American International Group, Inc. (AIG).

 

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in commerce and economics from Wilkes University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University. In 2013, he was awarded an honorary doctor of humane letters from Wilkes University.  He was also previously presented with a Department of the Army Outstanding Civilian Service Medal and received an honorary master of letters, strategic studies from the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA, where he served as chairman of the Board of Visitors for six years. Minimize

Donato J. Tramuto is the CEO of Tivity Health®, Inc., a leading provider of fitness, nutrition and social engagement programs, including SilverSneakers®, the nation’s leading fitness program for older adults and Nutrisystem®, a leading weight management program. A recognized innovator and industry leader with nearly four decades of healthcare experience, Donato was named a ‘global healthcare activist’ by The New York Times and is a frequent public speaker on healthcare access, business leadership, healthy aging and social isolation.

In less than a year after being named Tivity Health’s CEO, Tramuto executed a turnaround of the company’s performance and engineered a creative sale of a non-performing division, adding nearly $1 billion of valuation to the company. In March 2019, under Donato’s leadership, Tivity Health completed its acquisition of Nutrisystem, creating an integrated portfolio of fitness, nutrition and social engagement solutions to support overall health and wellness.

Before joining Tivity Health, Tramuto founded Physicians Interactive Holdings (now known as Aptus Health), a global provider of insight-driven digital engagement solutions for healthcare professionals and consumers.

In 2011, Tramuto founded Health eVillages, a non-profit organization which provides state-of-the-art mobile health technology in the most challenging clinical environments and has worked to address healthcare access, recognizing that universal healthcare is a basic human right for all people.

He is also the chairman and founder of the Tramuto Foundation, an organization he founded after the tragic events of September 11, 2001. For the last two decades, the foundation has helped young individuals, as well as organizations, achieve on their vision for a right to education and healthcare access, as well as addressing human rights violations.

Tramuto has been widely recognized for his more than three-decade commitment to social change and healthcare innovation. In 2014, he was honored with the prestigious Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award. Tramuto holds honorary doctorates from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, Thomas Jefferson University, Lasell College and Saint Joseph’s College. Heather’s expertise spans across the healthcare continuum with a focus on design, implementation and execution of hospital and health system strategies that improve patient care.  Heather has a 20-year plus career where she held positions of significant responsibility for strategy, operations and finance, including various roles in hospital management, quality, strategy and high-value health care delivery.  

Prior to joining Civica, Heather worked at Intermountain Healthcare as an Enterprise Initiative Partner and was responsible for driving forward Intermountain’s key strategic initiatives.  Before this position, Heather was the Operations Officer for Intermountain Healthcare’s LDS Hospital, with accountability for hospital-wide operations, strategic growth and high-value healthcare delivery.

Before joining Intermountain in 2008, Heather was the President / Managing Partner of Tesaris Corporation, a healthcare consulting and technology company.  In this position, Heather designed and optimized strategy and operational efficiency for hospitals, ranging in size from critical access facilities to academic medical centers.
