Ethnic consumers represented 28% of all US new vehicle registrations in 2017. In the past, ethnic consumer new vehicle volumes grew 400% faster than the rest of the industry. However, 2017 marked the first year that ethnic consumer vehicle volume growth has trailed the industry. The real challenge is what we can do collectively to reverse this current trend.
