Virgin MediaInc. on Aug. 12 started rolling out updates to its TV platform onTiVo Inc. receivers.

The upgrade includes the Series Link+ feature, which will allowVirgin TV subscribers in the U.K. with TiVoSTBs to record an entire program series while finding related episodes via ondemand and platforms such as NetflixInc.

Other improvements will enable customers to access a userinterface that displays content as images instead of text, perform predictivecontent searches, continue watching on-demand TV recordings from the point theywere left off, and bookmark shows for future viewing.

The new features, which will be released on all Virgin MediaTiVo boxes over the next few weeks, come as the unit also gave apreview of its new TiVo-powered V6 set-top box.
