, a unit of , and Avant, an onlinelending platform, entered into an agreement that creates a co-branded loan applicationprocess, according to an April 8 news release.

The agreementwill combine the Birmingham, Ala.-based bank's online presence with Avant's technologyplatform, to "provide a fast, convenient digital experience for customers seekingconsumer loans," the release added.

Loans will rangefrom $1,000 to $35,000. Applicants would receive an immediate credit decision andmay have access to the funds as soon as the next business day upon approval.

The co-brandedloan application process will be available the second half of 2016.
