White Mountains acquires controlling stake in Ark Insurance

White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in Ark Insurance Holdings Ltd.

In October 2020, White Mountains and its Bridge Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd. subsidiary entered a subscription and purchase agreement with Ark and certain selling shareholders to acquire a majority stake in the company.

The transaction closed Jan. 1.
