US Bancorp names behavioral science head; Westamerica Bancorp. director retiring

U.S. Bancorp hired Julie O'Brien as senior vice president and head of behavioral science and coaching, a role within a team working to determine how customers can reach their financial goals, the Triangle Business Journal reported Feb. 11.

Prior to joining the bank, O'Brien was director of applied behavior science at WW International Inc., formerly Weight Watchers, and a principal behavioral scientist at Duke University, according to the report.

Longtime Westamerica Bancorp. director Louis Bartolini will not stand for reelection to the board at the company's 2022 annual shareholders meeting April 28.

Bartolini has served on the board of the San Rafael, Calif.-based company since 1991.

Austin, Texas-based Greater Texas FCU appointed Molly Daniels chief human resources officer and senior vice president, according to a news release posted on CUInsight.com.

Daniels previously held senior leadership roles at GECU, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment LLC, Security Service FCU and Harland Clarke Corp.
