Tiger Infrastructure Partners LP raised $1.25 billion for Tiger Infrastructure Partners Fund III LP, its third flagship fund. The amount includes capital commitments from the middle-market private equity firm.
The fund, which closed at its hard cap, had an original target of $750 million. It attracted capital from new and existing limited partners such as pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors.
The vehicle targets core infrastructure investments and has already added five companies to its portfolio: Summit Carbon Solutions, air cargo infrastructure operator NorthLink Aviation, managed cloud infrastructure solutions provider 11:11 Systems Inc., electric vehicle charging point infrastructure company Qwello GmbH and power generation developer Forsa Energy.
Threadmark Partners Ltd. was global placement agent, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP was legal counsel.
