Sempra Infrastructure Partners on Nov. 3 unveiled executive leadership appointments, including the appointment of former U.S. Energy SecretaryDan Brouillette as the company's president.
Sempra Infrastructure was formed as part of Sempra's previously announced integrated deals to simplify its nonutility infrastructure investments under a new business platform. Sempra Infrastructure holds Sempra's liquefied natural gas business, Sempra LNG LLC, and the company's 99.9% ownership stake in Infraestructura Energética Nova SAV de CV, or IEnova.
Justin Bird, the current CEO of Sempra LNG, will become Sempra Infrastructure's CEO. Meanwhile, Tania Ortiz Mena, the current CEO of IEnova, will become the group president for Sempra Infrastructure's clean power and energy networks, according to a Nov. 3 news release.
Carlos Barajas will be senior vice president and chief business officer for clean power, while Carlos Mauer will be senior vice president and chief business officer for energy networks. Lisa Glatch, current president and COO of Sempra LNG, will be the president for LNG and net-zero solutions.
Carolyn Benton Aiman will be Sempra Infrastructure's senior vice president and chief legal officer, Randall Clark will be senior vice president and chief human resources officer and Faisel Khan will be senior vice president and CFO. Aiman, Clark and Khan had similar roles at Sempra LNG.
Sempra holds an 80% controlling stake in Sempra Infrastructure. KKR & Co. Inc., through its affiliate KKR Pinnacle Investor LP, completed the purchase of the remaining 20% equity stake in Sempra Infrastructure for $3.37 billion in early October.
