San Diego-based Bank of Southern California appoints chief credit officer

San Diego-based Bank of Southern California NA appointed Anne Williams executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Before joining the bank, Williams worked at California United Bank, where she was executive vice president and chief credit officer from 2005 to 2017, and COO from 2008 to 2017.

Additionally, Bank of Southern California announced that Robert Marshall will become chief lending officer. Marshall joined the bank in 2012 and was executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Carroll, Iowa-based Availa Bank appointed Jay Mendlik market president for its Denison branch.

Mendlik joins Availa Bank with over 13 years of banking experience.

Washington, D.C.-based National Capital Bank of Washington added Shawn Wright to its board.

Wright is a partner with law firm Blank Rome LLP.

Providence, R.I.-based Citizens Financial Group Inc. appointed Christopher Swift and Lee Alexander to its board, effective Feb. 1, 2021.

Swift is chairman and CEO of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. Alexander is executive vice president and chief information officer of the Clearing House.

Citizens Financial also announced the retirement of Howard Hanna from the board after his term expires at the end of April 2021. Hanna has been on the board since 2009.
