Pritzker Group Private Capital invested in specialty chemicals manufacturer Vertellus Specialties Inc.

Vertellus CEO John Van Hulle and the company's management team were also investors in the deal and will continue to lead the business.

The Indianapolis-headquartered company offers specialty chemicals aimed at the healthcare, personal care, food and agriculture, coatings and transportation markets.

Pritzker is a middle-market buyout firm that targets North American companies in the manufactured products, services and healthcare sectors.
