Canada-based asset manager Power Sustainable Capital Inc. launched a new investment platform with an initial C$1 billion dedicated to renewable energy projects across North America.
The platform, dubbed Power Sustainable Energy Infrastructure Partnership, is led by Desjardins Group. Other founding partners include Great-West Lifeco Inc., National Bank of Canada and Après-Demain Holding SA, according to a Jan. 19 news release.
The partnership will invest in development, construction, financing and operations of renewable energy projects through two Power Sustainable Capital subsidiaries, namely Potentia Renewables Inc. and Nautilus Solar Energy LLC.
