PNC Bank to buy payments portal provider Tempus Technologies

PNC Bank NA agreed to acquire payments portal provider Tempus Technologies Inc.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Tempus Technologies offers mobile payments apps, payment portals, web services and other payment-processing services, which PNC plans to integrate with its existing payment platforms.

Tempus Technologies will retain its president, Jason Sweitzer; its existing management team; and employees and will continue to operate out of Auburn, Ind. The company will continue to manage its portfolio of channel partners and clients.
