Platinum Equity-owned United Site Services weighs $4B sale – Reuters

Platinum Equity LLC-owned United Site Services Inc. is considering a sale that could give it a valuation of about $4 billion, including debt, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The private equity firm is working with investment bankers to advise it on a sale process for the portable toilet vendor, two sources reportedly said.

United Site has a 12-month EBITDA of more than $300 million, the sources added. It was acquired by Platinum from Calera Capital in August 2017. The sale reportedly comes amid a strong demand for the company's handwash-stations business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
