Philippine regulator approves PNB General Insurers sale

The Philippines' Insurance Commission on Dec. 29, 2020, approved Allied Bankers Insurance Corp.'s pending acquisition of PNB General Insurers Co. Inc. from Philippine National Bank.

The sale of PNB General Insurers is in line with Philippine National Bank's bid to exit the nonlife insurance business.
