Palo Alto Networks closes Bridgecrew acquisition

Palo Alto Networks Inc. said March 2 that it completed the acquisition of cloud security platform provider Bridgecrew Inc. for about $156 million in cash.

The transaction will enable the integration of Bridgecrew's platform into Palo Alto Networks' cloud-native security service Prisma Cloud. Palo Alto Networks will also invest in improving Bridgecrew's open-source infrastructure-as-code scanner Checkov.

Bridgecrew co-founders, Idan Tendler, Barak Schoster and Guy Eisenkot and their teams have joined Palo Alto Networks.
