Old Republic unit acquires operating assets of Utah-based title company

Old Republic International Corp. subsidiary Old Republic National Title Insurance Co. has acquired operating assets of Utah-based Mountain View Title & Escrow Inc.

The acquisition, which is effective Jan. 21, adds nine office locations and 86 employees to Old Republic National Title Insurance's existing network of direct operations.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Mountain View Title & Escrow manages residential and commercial real estate transactions.
